Deputy Principal, Oasis Academy Watermead

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate leader to join our Leadership Team as a Deputy Principal - Behaviour, Attendance and Personal Development. You will have the skills to inspire and motivate our children to excel across the academy and to help shape them in becoming aspirational, informed, and compassionate global citizens as they gain a better understanding of the world around them and their role within it. 

We would expect our future Deputy Principal to be an outstanding practitioner who would act as a role model for others in the classroom. Although, this post is non class based there would be an expectation of some teaching across the academy.

The academy team has an ethos based on collaboration and support with staff sharing strategies and resources to help everyone deliver excellent education. We are proud of our work across the academy in particular behaviour, attendance, and personal development and achieved very well within our 2023 outcomes.

Oasis Academy Watermead is an inclusive 3-11 academy that is committed to giving children the best possible education. We are in a relatively new building with fantastic facilities in the Shirecliffe area of the city with good transport links from Sheffield City Centre and Meadowhall.
