About our Academy.
Our all-through Academy opened in September 2015 and now includes a Nursery provision and children in Reception up to Year 9. Our aim is that all the children attending our Academy and their families develop a true sense of belonging and become actively involved in the life of the Oasis Academy Don Valley community.
Oasis Academy Don Valley is part of the Oasis Community Learning family, a multi-academy trust with the express purpose of transforming schools and their communities, through applying a holistic view of education. Our Ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level, Grade A*- C in English and Math or a Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification or a willingness to achieve it. You should possess the ability to converse at ease with parents/children and members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
The successful candidate will be passionate about working in an education setting and joining a dedicated and forward thinking team. In return, we will offer you continued professional development within a supportive body of professionals throughout the Academy. Visits to the Academy are welcomed and encouraged.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
