Oasis Academy Boulton is an inclusive urban primary school in the Handsworth area of Birmingham offering places for children between the ages of 3 and 11. We are looking to recruit a high quality professional. We are a good school and our Early Years provision remains exceptional (Ofsted, January 2019). You will join an Academy that is proud of its commitment to staff and their professional development, whilst having the highest expectations in all areas. We are seeking an exceptional or outstanding Teaching Assistant to join the Oasis family.
Oasis Academy Boulton is a warm, welcoming, inclusive academy with a friendly and enthusiastic team of teachers and support staff. Our children are eager to learn, have excellent behaviour and a positive attitude and enjoy coming to school; parents and academy councillors are very supportive of the academy.
Oasis Academy Boulton is part of the Oasis Community Learning family, a multi-academy sponsor with the express purpose of transforming schools into community Hubs, through applying a holistic view of education. As such, there are excellent opportunities both locally and nationally to develop professionally and grow in your role as a leader.
We want a Teaching Assistant who is ambitious for our academy, ambitious for our children and who is ambitious for themselves. If this is you, then we look forward to hearing from you.
As this role is key in the plan to drive forward improvements by transforming the lives of our students in raising their attainment levels, we are looking for a candidate with experience of working in an Early Years setting and a track record in delivering improvement. This will be a golden opportunity to bring your fresh ideas, qualities and professionalism to a primary school in challenging circumstances.
The successful candidate will need to understand, share and be committed to the Oasis ethos of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope and perseverance.
