An excellent opportunity to join an exciting Academy committed to the development of all of its staff and students. The Academy is rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and is celebrating its tenth anniversary with another excellent set of examination results.  Almost 20% of the grades were 7 – 9, with overall progress improving significantly from last year.  English results were outstanding: twenty students gained Grade 9s and 40% achieved Grades 7 to 9 and the whole Academy progress 8 score is 0.39.

We are currently seeking a Teacher of Physical Education to join us in September 2020.

The role and what we are looking for…

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to work within a talented, highly motivated and supportive team of teachers within our Physical Education department. We are looking for someone who will be able to contribute to the department core values of enjoyment, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and respect taught across all sports and activities in the PE curriculum.

The candidate will be expected to support the department with its relationship with the RFU and the CBRE All Schools programme, teaching rugby throughout all year groups to both boys and girls (training provided). The candidate appointed would be expected to run clubs and teams at lunch or after school to further develop the PE curriculum and give opportunity for all students to excel further, as well as deliver the GCSE PE Course in years 9-11.
