An exciting opportunity to join the team at Oasis Academy Sholing

Are you a practical person? Good at DIY or with a trade? Would you like to work with a friendly team in a busy secondary school?

This is an excellent opportunity to work with our site manager to ensure that our premises are safe, clean and provide the best learning environment for our students.

As part of a team you would ensure that all areas of the site are maintained to recognised standards and that the premises and grounds are a safe environment. You will carry out a range of health and safety checks on equipment and utilities and will report any defects you find. You will arrange emergency repairs where necessary.

As well as some cleaning duties you will prepare areas for school functions such as open evenings, moving and setting up equipment as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for site security as part of a team and it would be an advantage to have experience of working with young people.

Please note that we are unable to accept CV applications alone

Oasis is committed to making a difference to the lives of the communities it works in, and as such you must show a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours, which flow from the Oasis ethos. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS checks.
