A unique opportunity to join a passionate team of staff in a new and growing Academy.

Oasis Academy Leesbrook is seeking to appoint a dedicated, passionate and driven Science Technician.  This is an exciting opportunity to develop a provision in a new academy that is a part of the Oasis family.  The Academy opened in September 2018 in temporary accommodation (a state of the art, purpose built property on Middleton Road) and will relocate to our permanent home in September 2020, located just off Lees Road.

The Science Technician will work with a small and growing team of staff, ensuring that students receive an excellent educational experience in Science, right from the start. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, flexible and committed to ensuring that this school provides the very best opportunities for every single student. This role is essential in the development of the school as it grows in size, year on year, to eventually house 1500 students.

The successful applicant will be able to provide a technical support function to the Science Department, including the preparation of resources for practical lessons and maintenance of equipment and to provide assistance and advice to teaching staff as required.

We are therefore looking for an outstanding individual with drive and commitment and an unrelenting focus on the progress of all of the students in the Academy. In return, you will benefit professionally from the wealth of expertise and experience of our family of Academies, along with a range of support services based at Oasis National Office.

If you would like to discuss this role further, please do not hesitate to contact the Principal’s PA, Becky Dean:
