School Sports Partnership Project Officer
Salary Point 19 £25,481Term Time + 2 weeks (£22,939.27 41 weeks actual)
This is a 1 year fixed-term contract in the first instance due to funding.
We are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic candidate who will support the delivery of the Partnership’s PE, School Sport and Physical Activity offer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of all physical activity projects, leadership, gifted and talented programmes, in addition to supporting the delivery of school sport competition.
The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with students, staff, schools, NGB’s, CSP’s and other partners, including public health.
Candidates will need excellent organisational and communication skills. They will also need to have experience of education, sports development and working with young people.
It is desirable that the applicant:
- Has experience of working in a school/college environment.
- Has experience of sports development.
- Experience of project management.
- Experience of supervising volunteers or staff.
It is essential that the applicant:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Willingness to undertake further training and/or qualifications.
