The academy was inspected in June 2016 and was described as Good with the ‘Early Years Provision’ and ‘Personal development, behaviour and welfare’ graded as Outstanding. An achievement which the school community and Oasis Community Learning are justly very proud. The Inspectors identified that the school’s vision is to create an environment for ‘ambitious students with the character and skills to choose their own path’ was clearly evident during their visit.
We are looking to appoint someone who has the experience and passion to ensure these Good and Outstanding evaluations are sustained and hopefully exceeded.

Growth and development Currently the Academy has 205 students on roll. The small size means that students are able to flourish in an environment where lessons can be personalised to ensure that all abilities are catered for including supporting students who have the greatest developmental needs and challenging and extending those whose learning is developing at pace. Staff benefit from strong CPD and use a variety of teaching techniques to make sure that every student has the best start to their educational journey.
