Leader of Standards MFL

We are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational leader for our MFL department who can motivate students and staff and deliver our vision of increasing the EBACC. The successful candidate will be assuming leadership of a well-resourced department with historically good results and has a relentless focus on raising achievement. You will be pivotal in growing the MFL offer in KS4 to increase the Academy EBACC take up. The successful candidate will work to secure the highest standards across this department, working with other members of the Middle Leadership Team to ensure the best possible educational outcomes for all students.

Our Academy is a fantastic place to study and work; we are a forward thinking Ofsted ‘Good’ school and this is reflected in us being oversubscribed in Years 7 to 9.   • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Cutting edge knowledge of educational research and how to utilise this in classroom practice
  • Proven leadership ability and experience
  • The ability to motivate pupils and achieve excellent results
  • Excellent organisational and ICT skills
  • The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people
