We are seeking an inspirational leader for our Humanities faculty for September 2023. The ideal candidate will be a Humanities specialist and will have line management responsibility for the faculty. The successful candidate will be assuming leadership of a well-resourced department that has a relentless focus on raising achievement. This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced middle leadership team and play a key role in the Academy’s drive to become Ofsted ‘Outstanding’.
You will have
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Cutting edge knowledge of educational research and how to utilise this in classroom practice
- Proven leadership ability and experience
- The ability to motivate pupils and achieve excellent results
- Excellent organisational and ICT skills
- The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people
