Our Academy is a fantastic place to study and work and there really is no better time to join our team! We are a forward thinking Ofsted ‘Good’ school and this is reflected in our Year 7 intake which has been oversubscribed for the past two years. We are seeking an inspirational leader for our Humanities faculty for September 2023.  The ideal candidate will be a Humanities specialist and will have line management responsibility for the faculty. The successful candidate will be assuming leadership of a well-resourced department that has a relentless focus on raising achievement. This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced middle leadership team and play a key role in the Academy’s drive to become Ofsted ‘Outstanding’.

You will have

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Cutting edge knowledge of educational research and how to utilise this in classroom practice
• Proven leadership ability and experience
• The ability to motivate pupils and achieve excellent results
• Excellent organisational and ICT skills
• The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people
