The role and what we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced HR administrator to provide an efficient and customer focused service through effective administration and assistance on all employee related HR transactional processes. The role will include but is not limited to:

  • Leading the recruitment, selection and appointment process. You will be the first point of contact for applicants and provide clear communication throughout

  • Facilitating the completion of statutory recruitment checks and carrying out the onboarding process for new staff

  • Maintaining the single central register, MIS database and iTrent to ensure records are up to date at all times

  • Maintain personnel files and ensure all filing is completed in a timely fashion

  • Accurate and timely completion of the annual Workforce Census

  • Monitor and record staff absence, and ensure supply cover is scheduled on the database in a timely manner

  • Manage the absence process, adhering to the Staff Absence Policy at all times, coordinating with appropriate staff members for persistent absence, fit note processes and return to work interviews

  • Liaising with external stakeholders in various aspects of the role

  • Ensure correct details are processed on payroll for new staff, leavers and contractual changes

  • Attend meetings and ensure serious HR casework is escalated
