Job/Person Summary

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, committed, and conscientious person to join our team. Experience of working in a similar role would be preferable, although training can be given.  This post incorporates the role of Exams Officer with broader responsibilities for the overseeing of Admissions.

There is a very high demand for precision for this role.   The successful applicant will be responsible for administering the examinations process for GCSE’s and for KS3 and KS4 internal exams.  They should have a good understanding of Word, Outlook and Excel, knowledge of Bromcom would be an advantage however, training will be provided.

You will need to be able to manage the whole exams process, including the recruitment, training and deployment of a team of Exam invigilators.

You will also be responsible for the administrative admissions process for the academy.  Under the direction of the Assistant Principal to be the key point of contact, responsible for student admissions in accordance with the academy admissions policy and Local Authority.  Liaising with the admissions and appeals service.  Maintaining waiting lists for all year groups and offer student places when applicable. To administer CTF’s both incoming and outgoing and ensuring that the student data base is up to date.

The responsibilities of this role are Examinations Officer and Admissions Lead.

Hours of work:  30 hours per week (8.30am-3pm) Term Time only plus one extra week.
