About the role We are looking for someone to provide delivery of Property, Estates and New Projects Asset Strategy & Services to all Oasis Assets. Responsible to the Head of Property Operations you will act in all areas of the Property, Estates and New Projects operations including repairs and maintenance, capital project, health and safety, property legal and catering support. Lead the performance of the Regional Asset Management functions with occasional cover to other clusters (including those duties) Provide Regional Leadership and support in the performance of existing and new departmental services including any transitional arrangements and provide effective Line Management and/or Leadership of Property, Estates and New Projects staff across the region.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be educated to A-Level or equivalent qualification in the construction sector
- Hold the relevant Senior/Chartered Building Surveyor qualification
- Have proven experience of having worked within the Educational sector
- Have experience of delivering reactive, cyclical and planned services/projects in the Contract Administrator and/ or Employers Agent role
- Have knowledge and understanding of current Health & Safety legislation in relation to the management of large estates
- Have experience of the contract management of external services such as cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance
- Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
