As a growing academy looking to build our leadership capacity, we are looking to appoint an inspirational and committed individual to join us at an exciting time. You will play a leading role in the development of the Academy and ensuring exceptional education is delivered to all of our students.
We are looking for someone who has an unwavering belief in our mission “Ready for University. Ready to Lead” and the commitment to really transform learning and lives within the Academy community. You will have the highest expectations of yourself and others, be innovative in your approach and demonstrate exceptional leadership that allows both students and the Academy to realise and reach their full potential.
Growth and goals
We currently have 253 students on roll in Years 7-10, with a further 90 places allocated for our Year 7 entry in September 2018. When the Academy moves into its permanent building, this will rise to 120 with a full capacity of 600 students.
Based on a site adjacent to the Royal Docks and London City Airport, we are proud to be at the heart of a flourishing local community. Aiming to equip our young people with the skills to take advantage of the opportunities available to them within the area, we have developed relationships with local business partners and expect our future leader to continue to cultivate these collaborations.
We do not expect you to do this alone. You will enjoy the support and challenge of being part of a family of 48 Oasis Academies, working alongside leaders in their field and gaining access to great learning and training opportunities.
Our Academy is part of the Oasis Community Learning family, one of the largest multi-Academy sponsors within the UK with the express purpose of transforming learning, lives and communities. Through instilling and encouraging inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope and perseverance we aim to develop competency and character within our young people and help them reach their potential.
Help our young people reach their potential!
