We are now looking to appoint a 2nd Line Support Technician with a specialism in SharePoint to join our team. Oasis have an ITIL Service Desk, with the 2nd Line Engineer dealing with escalations from the 1st Line Team and from our Academies. You will be working mainly with Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 and Azure.

The successful candidate will need to have a keen approach to customer service and the ability to identify incidents whilst setting key priorities. A confident communicator you will support colleagues and students, in person and remotely, in the appropriate use of ICT. This role demands strong knowledge of Windows 10 and basic Windows Server 2008 /12 administration. Experience of in an IT service in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
This position will fulfil general 2nd line support duties as part of a team of three 2nd line engineers but will specialise in the support of a number of diverse content management systems (SharePoint online, Drupal and Composer) as well as undertaking day to day maintenance tasks for external websites, O365 features and the Oasis intranet (OasisZone).

be willing to work shift patterns and travel between sites
have good attention to detail for completing scheduled checks and updates
